What do you do:: I compete in slopestyle, big air and half pipe. I really enjoy them all, but my main focus lately has been halfpipe. I was originally a slopestyle skier until I was introduced to halfpipe at the age of 16. For me the best part about skiing is being in the air, no matter whether it’s off a jump, in the pipe or off a cliff, just being in the air is an indescribable feeling that boosts my adrenaline but at the same time puts me at peace. In the off season I work at my local ski store, Mountain Cultures, selling everything from skis to paddle boards to trampolines. In my spare time away from my job I like to golf, go boating and hangout with my friends while still training in the gym, on trampoline, water ramp and airbag.
Favorite Tricks:: Cork 9 Stale, Switch 7 Blunt
Favorite Mountain:: COP, Whistler
Who do you session with the most:: Friends and teammates on the Canadian Next Gen team
Plans for the season:: This season I plan to do Nor Am events and as many World Cups as I can. My main goal is to lock down a solid halfpipe run that I can consistently land and will also have a level of difficulty that will land me on the podium. Other goals for this season are to still focus on Slopestyle and nail down a run that is unique and will get the judges attention, and above all making sure I'm still having as much fun as I can doing what I love.
